Juan
Muñoz
Most of you know Juan and if not - you’re
missing out!He is a qualified dance instructor and choreographer, has had
his own professional dance troupe in Cuba and competed in Cuban and World
dance competitions against the best.
Juan
was born in Havana City, Cuba and has been dancing since being a young
boy.He
started training and learning dance in Cuba from being 15 years old and
studied at the University of Havana for 11 years, becoming a Graduate of
dance, specialising in Afro-Cuban dance - rumba, yoruba, etc. and ‘Bailes
Populares’ - Salsa, including Son, Mambo, and Cha Cha Cha. |

Juan conducts
his own regular classes in the North West of England and also hosts,
teaches, gives dance workshops, and DJ s at other events.

Susan
conducted the dance workshops at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester at the
¡Hola Cuba! Festival 2000 when Buena Vista Social Club, Afro-Cuban
Allstars, Orquesta Aragon and other Cuban professionals appeared and will
be conducting them again at this year’s ¡Hola Mundo! Festival when
Celia Cruz will be appearing. Juan has great style, charisma and energy
and this, teamed with his professionalism, expertise, and a great sense of
humour, ensures his students learn quickly and correctly the best of
Salsa, whilst having fun!

Susan
Milner
Juan’s
partner, assisting Juan with all his classes. Susan has enjoyed and
danced salsa for many years and attended numerous dance workshops both in
England and Cuba, latterly coached by Juan. |
| Susan has
danced from being 9 years old and has gained all IDTA certificates in
Latin American and Ballroom dance. She has given performances in salsa and
arranges dance workshops and salsa events.
